Night and Day

Okay so some of you may have seen where I had this guy for sale as a pelt and I wanna apologize to those that were interested because I went ahead and mounted him 😮
Here's why:
I bought him raw and unprepped, and I was so excited to tan him that I put VERY little thought into prepping him for taxidermy. I just didn't feel comfortable selling his pelt as mountable when I wasn't sure if it would be. I turned his ears and half-assed split his lips but I didn't thin his face at all and I didn't split his eyelids or nose. I really, REALLY learned the value of good eyelids to tuck because this guy had next to none. Surprisingly his lips tucked better than any have yet and I'm not sure if it was the skin or that maybe I'm getting better at it.
I'm still dialing in his eyes and lips but I'm relatively happy with how he turned out. I'll probably sell him as a premade, but I'll have 2 more blacks coming up soon.

I promise the next faces will be commissioners.
