This is my first year doing this and I can't wait to send stuff to people! I love secret santas!
Rules

Any Interest in a real Roo tail?

I have local access to a real kangaroo tail that could be sewn up and worn on your butt. It would be fully posable with a plastic ball-joint armature inside.
I'm just not sure if I want to go pick it up unless someone here is interested? It would be maybe $130 finished depending on what I can get it for. Let me know before its gone!

This whole thing makes me feel really sorry for those poor animals you killed and stuffed and use as toys. This is murder and torture.
Humans should respect nature and not play with it like some god being - because humans are not gods. But they're not even animals, because animals don't kill and skin other animals for fun or entertainment.

Hello! Thought I'd clear up some stuff about where I source my coyotes. The animals I use are never killed just so I can use them. I live in Kansas where coyotes are killed in the thousands every year because farmers don't want them killing their calves. I try to make arrangements with farmers to pick them up off their "gut pile", where they just dump them to rot. Sometimes they'll hang them on the fence line too to "scare off other coyotes."
The coyotes I use would be killed whether I used them or not, I just pick up the pelts because I don't think something so beautiful should rot. The mounts I make are truly lovef by their owners and are more than just trophies, they're treasures.
If I can take something that is left to rot and make it into something someone will love and keep and hold for years, I feel like that is a great way to respect the animal it came from.

You are partially correct. I once assisted a local trapper with pest control. I set one trap and caught one coyote on the land he was trapping on. He let me keep the coyote that would have otherwise been left to rot, because the fur was brown/chocolate colored and not worth more than like $10 on the fur market. He said he couldn't be bothered to skin it at that price. I skinned it and put it in my freezer.
